Donation at AMO Gokwe Convention

We’re buzzing with excitement to share the highlights of our donation drive that touched the lives of so many in the North West Zimbabwe Conference (NWZC) in early October this year. While at an Adventist Men Organization (AMO) Convention, we had an opportunity to serve in a way that made us love what we do even more!

First up, let’s talk about school meals. We provided mealie meal, cooking oil, and sugar beans to 19 Adventist schools and 7 non-Adventist schools in Gokwe for their third term school feeding program, impacting a whooping 15,670 learners.

Food Distribution

We didn’t stop there. The food distribution extended to vital community services – the local prison, hospital, and police station. We also reached out to 1,851 vulnerable individuals, plus 823 AMO members, and 60 pastors. The total food items donated were 15 tonnes of sugar beans, 68 tonnes of mealie meal, and 15,000 liters of cooking oil.

Vehicle Donations

We know that mobility is crucial, so we donated 20 wheelchairs to individuals with disabilities and 10 motorbikes to local pastors. This will make a world of difference in how they go about. Also, we contributed 5 boreholes to the community, ensuring that there is access to clean water.

We are so grateful that we get to be involved in work that transforms lives this way, and we are committed to continue bridging gaps everywhere where there is need, one heart at a time!
