Mechanization and Tillage in Midlands
Last week we gathered for a truly special event that perfectly encapsulated what we’re all about here at the Bridging Gaps Foundation. The atmosphere was electric as we celebrated the handover of tractors and farming implements to schools in the Midlands region. Yes, you read that right-tractors and
implements!
Picture this: a bright, sunny day filled with laughter, smiles, and a whole lot of community spirit. We came together with pastors, local leaders, and educators and handed over the equipment. The machines stand as a representation of a golden opportunity for our Adventist Schools in the region to become powerful
centers of influence.
Why Mechanize?
Why mechanize, you ask? Well, we believe that the missionaries of old had a great vision of using schools to transform surrounding communities. However, there can be no meaningful transformation unless the institutions are self- sufficient and well funded. What better way is there than to assist them in capitalizing on their richest resource – land! We want them to be in the best position possible to allow them to be productive and support not only themselves, but be beacons of hope to their surrounding communities. We want
them to make a real impact-literally!
When we all come together-schools, the church, local farmers, and organizations like ours —miracles happen! We can create real, lasting change that lifts everyone up. But hold on, because this is just the beginning! We’re
determined that these implements are put to good use. We’ll be providing ongoing training and support to help the schools maximize this incredible opportunity
So, here’s to a future filled with hope, opportunity, and a whole lot of excitement! The handover event was a fantastic reminder of what we can achieve when we work together. At Bridging Gaps Foundation, we’re all about empowering the
next generation to reach for the stars.
We cannot wait to see these seeds we’ve sown blossom into something truly
extraordinary.
