Nourishing Young Minds - Our School Feeding Program in Gokwe
In our commitment to ensuring that every child has access to nutritious meals, we recently donated mealie meal, sugar beans, and cooking oil to 26 schools in the region. The initiative seeks to empower children, enhance their education, and build a brighter future for the communities.
Imagine the children as they gather in their schools, not just to learn, but to enjoy a warm, nutritious meal every day. With the essential ingredients we’ve provided, the schools are now able to serve hearty meals that fuel the young minds and bodies.
Well-nourished children
Nutrition plays a critical role in the educational journey of children. Studies have shown that when children receive adequate nutrition, their enrollment rates increase, and they are more likely to attend school regularly. A well-nourished child is more alert, focused, and ready to learn. By providing meals, we are addressing hunger and promoting consistent school attendance.

Nutrition also directly affects academic performance. Children who are well- nourished tend to perform better on tests and assignments. They can concentrate longer and absorb information more effectively. Our program aims to create an environment where every child can thrive academically, and the results are already showing promise.
